The University runs a two-semester calendar in one session with about 15 weeks of study in each semester and is structured in such a way that a minimum of 5 years is required.
The first year is devoted to preliminary University courses. The second year courses expose the students to some related basic college courses, designed to broaden their knowledge in Engineering. The remaining two years are devoted to specialized course in the field of Chemical Engineering. Students in their fourth year are mandated to undertake a 6-month Industrial Training, from the beginning of their second semester, in places related to their area of specialization.
Excursions are undertaken each academic year. Final year students carry out projects in partial fulfillment for the award of B.Eng degree in Chemical Engineering.
